According to Gundersen, “Equipping the Saints” attributes theological views to Via Media USA (representing “Revisionist/Progressive ‘Christianity’” according to the brochure—note the quotation marks around “Christianity”), even though the alliance (of which PEP is a member) has never expressed any explicit theology. Moreover, Gundersen charges that the AAC deliberately confuses Via Media USA with the Via Media curriculum produced and distributed by Every Voice Network, which has no connection to Via Media USA or its alliance members.
To date, no response has been forthcoming from Canon Anderson.
